چکیده
Fano resonance with high Q-factor can greatly enhance the light–matter interaction in all-dielectric metasurface, which is an important condition for developing high-performance micro-/nano-photonics devices. In this paper, we present metasurface structure composed of nanoarrays to investigate properties BIC realization and near-infrared spectral region. Four profiles are generated, two quasi-BIC modes excited by MD appear when structural symmetry broken. All resonances modulation depth close 100%. The response proposed also highly tunable adjusting polarization incident light geometric parameters structure. This work may provide a reference design devices, such as biochemical sensing, optical switches, modulators.

Fano resonances in all-dielectric oligomers.
We demonstrate that light scattering by all-dielectric oligomers exhibits well-pronounced Fano resonances with strong suppression of the scattering cross section. Our analysis reveals that this type of the Fano resonance originates from the optically induced magnetic dipole modes of individual high-dielectric nanoparticles. By comparing to the plasmonic analogues, we observe that Fano resonance...
متن کاملObservation of Fano resonances in all-dielectric nanoparticle oligomers.
It is well-known that oligomers made of metallic nanoparticles are able to support sharp Fano resonances originating from the interference of two plasmonic resonant modes with different spectral width. While such plasmonic oligomers suffer from high dissipative losses, a new route for achieving Fano resonances in nanoparticle oligomers has opened up after the recent experimental observations of...
متن کاملFormation mechanism of guided resonances and bound states in the continuum in photonic crystal slabs
We develop a formalism, based on the mode expansion method, to describe the guided resonances and bound states in the continuum (BICs) in photonic crystal slabs with one-dimensional periodicity. This approach provides analytic insights to the formation mechanisms of these states: the guided resonances arise from the transverse Fabry-Pérot condition, and the divergence of the resonance lifetimes...
متن کامل1 Bound States in the Continuum
Bound states in the continuum are waves that, defying conventional wisdom, remain localized even though they coexist with a continuous spectrum of radiating waves that can carry energy away. Their existence was first proposed in quantum mechanics and, being a general wave phenomenon, later identified in electromagnetic, acoustic, and water waves. They have been studied in a wide variety of mate...
متن کاملSurface bound states in the continuum.
We introduce a novel concept of surface bound states in the continuum, i.e., surface modes embedded into the linear spectral band of a discrete lattice. We suggest an efficient method for creating such surface modes and the local bounded potential necessary to support the embedded modes. We demonstrate that the surface embedded modes are structurally stable, and the position of their eigenvalue...
